Since I started these Sunday outfit posts, I have come to realize how much blue clothing items are actually in my closet. I fell in love with this royal blue bodycon midi dress and finally decided to wear it. I’m so glad it turned out beautifully. I love how the royal blue really complimented my skin tone and this dress has great stretch.
The criss cross mesh details on the sleeve offered coverage and a bit of sexy to the outfit. The intricate design across the bodice is a lovely lace fabrication with solid knit contrast that is carried all the way around and even to the back of the dress. This dress has a lovely mock neckline and features a back slit with an exposed gold back zipper.
Since there was so much going on with it, I decided to keep the jewelry to the bare minimum for this royal blue bodycon midi dress. Just statement earrings and a few midi rings. As for shoes, I’m sure I could have worn a gold sandal due to the gold zipper detailing on the back of the dress, but I’ve had these blue pumps forever and they are a perfect match to the dress. I kept my makeup as natural as possible and I attempted a flexi rod set on my hair, which actually came out really well.
