I’m really enjoying experimenting with prints and colors this winter. I had this classic houndstooth dress in my closet for a bit and decided to pull it out this past Sunday. It’s a print that I think pairs well with basics as it stands out. You can find it mostly in black and white, so when I found it on Boohoo in mustard, I had to have it.
I paired this classic houndstooth dress with a black stretchy blazer and minimalist black heels (Similar). The jewelry was kept simple just to make sure this print did all the work. I could have added a belt to pull the waist in, but how the blazer was cut, it actually created that illusion for me.
If you’re not a fan of dresses, I found this print also in a bodysuit (same color too!). I’m definitely going to purchase and wear it during the warmer months. The fabric is soft and comfortable. I love this mustard color on dark skin as well, gives an effortless glow to the skin.
In the end, I truly like how this look came together. It’s an outfit that can be recycled for the office or a business casual meeting. Let me know if you’ve tried the houndstooth print as yet!
