This week I wanted to go for a power lady look for Sunday. This beautiful navy peplum dress with sleeves from Top Vintage Boutique definitely did the trick. I love a good peplum style because it hides any tummy flaws, while allowing you to still have that perfect, feminine silhouette. This dress was very comfortable and the fabric was heavy and strong. I loved the little navy and black checker-board design to it as well. It’s so tiny that you would have to get close enough to notice it.
The V-cut design in the chest area was also perfect enough that I could add a bit of jewelry and still allow to some sexy cleavage. I kept the jewelry gold as I always love gold with navy. The navy peplum dress also features gold zipper detailing which is nice but I think the zipper may have been too heavy for the dress because it did bunch up on me in the back a little. As for hair and makeup, I decided to go for a pink lip, which kept with the feminine theme, and I opted to create a cute vintage poodle hairstyle with a french roll in the back.
