Get Light weight, versatile holiday styles using the Authentic Synthetic Crochet Braids 2X Jumbo Senegalese Twists

Let’s face it, during the holidays we rarely can be bothered with anything else let alone how we are going to style our hair. So during this festive time of the year, these gorgeous Authentic synthetic crochet braids 2x jumbo senegalese twists ($6.99 a pack) are perfect for creating amazing holiday looks. While these twists are 100% hand braided and were originally designed for crochet styles, I found them perfect for creating fast updos because they come pre-twisted and pre-looped. The braids are 24 inches in length and come in 15 different colors. For this style, I chose the colors #33 and color #1B. I chose these colors because I wanted a touch of flair to my hair by adding a color that was seasonally appropriate, while still keeping it professional and glamourous. While the ends of the hair I would say were a little sloppy, they did not unravel on their own during the styling process. Here are a few key features of this hair:

How I created this style

Step 1: starting with freshly washed and dried hair, I pulled my hair into a high ponytail creating a tight, secure bun.

Step 2: Using black pipe cleaners (you can use ribbon or the twist tie that the hair came on) I placed the looped hair through about 3 of them randomly.

Step 3: Taking the pipe cleaners loaded with the hair, I wrapped and secured them around the bun, hiding my natural hair.

Step 4: Wrap the hair in any direction you wish, making sure to pin where needed and secure with bobby pins.
