I always plan my looks in advance, especially when it comes to changes in the season. Today I want to share with you part of my beauty wish list for the upcoming “Pumpkin Spice everything” season. Fall lipstick colors for dark skin are usually all shades of purple, but I wanted to mix it up a little, although purple is my favorite color. Here are a few shades and brands I’ve been eyeing for Fall 2018.
Bobbi Brown Luxe Matte Lipstick, Brocade, $37
This is such a sexy lip shade. The color is described as a bright, purple plum. This lipstick formula comes in 30 shades and claims to rejuvenate lips, visibly reduce the appearance of lip lines and relieve lip flaking. I’m tempted to try them all.
JOUER Cosmetics Long-Wear Lip Creme Liquid Lipstick, Bronze Rose, $18
Metallics, especially on the lips are my current obsession. I think the trend should carry on through the fall season. This bronze rose shade would be a lovely amped up shade, which a neutral feel. It is described as a metallic cool deep rose shade but it seems a bit warm to me.
SMASHBOX Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick, Deep Thoughts, $24
I actually own a shade in this liquid lipstick already and I can tell you that the formula is super comfortable and long wearing. It’s lightweight and stays put. I chose this color because nudes are still in during the Fall season. The color is described as a deep, chocolate brown so it’s perfectly nude, yet still fall appropriate. This formula is also available in matte and metallic shades.
I hope you enjoyed a peak into my Fall lipstick colors for dark skin wish list. It’s not the longest list, because I am making a point to try new makeup items this fall. Lips are the first thing that get a make over so I did not want to go too crazy.
