Radiant skin for the holidays with Shiseido White Lucent Products
Shiseido White Lucent products have been a staple in my skincare regimen for over two years. I had ran out of them during the summer and my skin unfortunately showed it. I have used only three of the Shiseido products from the White Lucent line and the Brightening Balancing Softener as well as the Brightening Cleansing Foam are my favorites. Made in Japan, the Shiseido White Lucent line is a multi-action brightening system that reveals bright, luminous skin, with the benefit of visibly fading dark spots.

Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Cleansing Foam ($35 for 4.7 oz) is a gentle purifying foam that protects the moisture in the skin while lifting away impurities. I can tell you that a little of this cleanser goes a long way and it has a soft, baby powder scent that is not overbearing. You only need a pea sized amount to build up a gentle, yet generous lather, leaving your skin very clean, soft and refreshed. I had the travel size at first and that lasted me three months so I think the full size may double that. This cleanser, formulated with Micro White Powder also claims to:

- Dermatologist tested
- Recommended for all skin types
The Micro White Powder in the formula, helps to remove dead skin cells to improve luminosity and clarity of the skin.
Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Balancing Softener
Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Balancing Softener ($48 for 5 fl. oz) is a refreshing, brightening lotion that immediately hydrates and softens the skin. This balancing softener also leaves you with a luminous, refined complexion, enhancing the benefits of what ever your next skincare step is after its use. Now, it’s not the traditional thick, white body or facial lotion that you are thinking of. It’s still a toner, but more gentle and fortified with different humectants that help to moisturize and not strip the skin like a traditional astringent would. I can say that this softner saved my skin’s texture. I noticed once I had stopped using it, my skin took on the damage from hard water use and sun burn more readily. I could feel the rough texture my skin was taking on and my photos started to show it too. Once I started using Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Balancing Softener again, this amazing product, formulated with Super Hydro-Synergy Complex, which supplies moisture and improves skin texture, helped my skin get back to being soft and supple.
