I discovered the Peter Thomas Roth skincare line last year at Sephora browsing for a new cleanser. While I enjoyed that cleanser, I noticed a wide selection of facial masks that I just had to try. I tried samples here and there, but for now I have been loving the Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold and Irish Moor Mud Masks. These two masks fulfill my current skincare needs and are of supreme quality.

This Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold mask (5 OZ full size at $80) is my very first firming mask and let me tell you, it is pure luxury. This anti-aging treatment mask is infused with Colloidal Gold and pure 24k gold to help lift and firm the skin, revealing a luxurious glow.
After a few weeks of using this treatment, I noticed my skin looked brighter, more plump and softer to both the eye and to the touch. I would say that this mask is perfect for a big event, so use it before then just to give your skin an extra bit of glow. A few of the key ingredients in this mask really allow it to stand out. When I first tried it, I was waiting for it to dry down but because it’s hydrating, it can do it’s job just fine without making your skin feel as if it is sucking the life from it as most other mud masks can do. This mask draws out oil and dirt, along with other impurities while putting back into it vital vitamins and moisture. My skin is left feeling clean and refreshed.
However, be warned because while it is gentle, it is powerful. When I use this mask, I notice that it pulls out anything that is not wanted, so if you have an event let’s say on a weekend, use this at the very beginning of the week because you may see a pimple or two pop up as impurities have been brought to the surface and you will want to get rid of it before time.
