Surya Brasil Exotic Animals Nail Polish ($12 for 0.32 fl. oz) is collection of nail polishes inspired by nature and named after exotic animals from around the world. This collection features 16 shades and I was sent three shades to try out. The packaging has a very earthy vibe with thick glass bottle and a lovely, smooth wooden top. The name of the polish color however, is very small on the back of the bottle. I barely noticed it so I so wish that this would have been more prominent in the front of the bottle or even at the base. The application brush is flat and thick, which makes it great for picking up a generous amount of polish. The usual strong, polish scent is still eminent with these polishes. The colors I received are:
- Coral Snake – This is described as an intense coral. It is very bright, opaque and vibrant with a smooth gloss finish
- Amazon River Dolphin – This is described as a delicate pink. I would say it’s a milky beige color. This applied very streaky, even after two coats.
- Gold-Faced Lion Tamarin – This is described as a bright, golden brown. I would say this is more of a golden olive shade. This shade was very opaque and was very intense with just two coats.
The Surya Brasil Exotic Animals nail polish is also certified cruelty-free, seven-free and vegan. The collection also includes a base coat, extra shine top coat and an oil dryer.
