The Pat McGrath mini lust gloss trio ($25) is the perfect way to try out the Lust gloss line without committing to the full size until you are absolutely ready. This particular line has three mini sets at 0.05 oz each: Warm, cool and Sunset Seduction. The set that I chose is warm, which includes the shades that are described on the website as:

The formula was creamy and the colors provided a mid-level of opacity, which was just enough to provide some color without being too much. It is not sticky yet comfortable on the lips. The formula of the Pat Mcgrath mini lust glosses is described as a kind of gel-balm hybrid, and I can feel the hydration coming from this amazing combination. The lustre these glosses provide gives the lips a smooth look, making them appear plump and healthy.

Flesh Fantasy

Flesh Fantasy

Flesh Fantasy is a very fitting name for this gloss. It’s the perfect nude for my lips. This lush pink beige compliments my pigmented lips and gives them this illusion of being more supple and plump than they actually are. Also, this color would look great with a regular brown lip liner for added definition.

Flesh 4

Flesh 4 is a Mid-toned warm brown that looks like deep, pinky mauve in the tube, but on the lips it is creamy brown glossy goodness. The opacity of this is mid level to allow some of my natural lip to come through.

Bronze Temptation

At first glance, there’s nothing bronze about it, but I think that’s what is so special about it. Bronze temptation looks like a warm coral with golden shimmer in the tube. However, on the lips, it is a lovely almost sheer terracotta color, yet it is opaque enough to cover my pigmented lips.

The glosses performed well on my pigmented lips. The color was still able to show up without being too sheer. They looked beautiful against my skin tone and stayed that same gel like texture all day. I think the trios are a great way to test out this unique formula and introduce an amazing addition to your lip collection with a Pat McGrath mini lust gloss trio.
