Experience pure glamour with the MAC X Mariah Carey Collection for Holiday 2016
The holiday season for 2016 has just been soaked in glitter with the release of the MAC x Mariah Carey Collection. It is said that the second time’s the charm and I’m sure Mariah Carey went all out for this collection. After the 2015 release of a single lipstick, this new collection features everything from blinged out buffer brushes to eyeshadow quads. This 23 piece collection has an excellent color palette, so I believe every skin tone will be able to find something that works for them.
As for me, I decided to purchase four items from the MAC x Mariah Carey Collection because it was like hunger games style shopping. Most of the collection sold out in minutes, but I was happy to see MAC doing constant restocks through out the day to make sure everyone was able to get something. I tried to stick to items that I don’t have in my current collection or that were unique to me. The over the top glitter and gold packaging also stole my heart and is just too adorable to just get one thing. Here’s what I decided on from the collection:
- Sweet, Sweet Fantasy Blush – Warm Coral blush with a satin finish. Very pigmented.
- Little Miss Munroe Lipglass – warm Golden lipglass with shimmer. Works great as a lipstick topper.
- So Dramatique Pro longwear lip liner – Cool taupe brown
- Touch My Body Loose Powder – warm golden shimmer
