Create a captivating cat eye with the new L’Oreal Voluminous Feline Mascara
L’Oreal Voluminous Feline Mascara ($8.99 for 0.27 FL. OZ) provides instant volume with intense density. Available in two formulas, waterproof and washable, this mascara caught my eye due to it’s leopard print packaging. I’m a cat lover at heart, so the leopard print along with the gold and green color palette really drew me in. This mascara is also available in black and gold packaging, which would have been a better choice for my University of Missouri (MIZZOU) background.
Although the packaging is very cute, the formula is just as important. I was expecting the color to be super black but it’s more of a dark charcoal/grey color. L’Oreal describes the formula as “Quick-Charge.” The texture is ultra-glossy and provides lashes with a smooth shiny finish. I assume the “quick charge” description comes from the ability of the wand to apply the formula in just one coat. There is also a “quick charge” brush that captures each lash to deliver volume and fullness to the lashes. Application was very easy and the wand did a great job of separating my lashes. However, be careful not to apply more than two coats or it will start to clump up. This mascara is very lightweight on the lashes and the brush applicator was not scratchy. There was great lift and separation of the lashes and I loved how it made my bottom lashes look.
