Get ready for a peachy sweet summer with the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette
Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette ($49 for 0.54 oz) is a limited edition palette that took Spring 2016 by storm. This highly coveted 18-shade palette has a variety of peachy pinks, bronzes, corals and a few purple shades to add depth without loosing the peach tone. The packaging is a metal case with magnetic closure. I love the embossed peach shapes and the gradient coloring of the packaging as well. An added feature to the palette is the actual peach scent that bursts through the packaging upon opening the palette. It’s more of an artificial peach smell to me (it’s a little too sweet for my liking) but it is not over bearing.
The formulation of the eyeshadows is pretty decent. They blended well on my lids with no fall out and were very smooth and soft to the touch. The pigmentation is also very vibrant. The mix of matte and shimmer shades in this palette is a great balance, however, I would have liked to have seen a deep, warm toned brown as well as a few more peach shades throughout the palette. The obnoxious sweet peach logo was also unnecessary on the mirror as I may actually need it to put on the eyeshadow and it’s just really in the way. The shadows performed well, all except Georgia, which was a little patchy. If you can get your hands on this limited edition beauty, I think it’s a great starter palette for the spring and summer months and that sweet peach welcome scent that exudes from the palette are all bonuses.
