COVERGIRL has added a 24HR Ultra Matte lipstick to their exhibitionist line in 12 shades. I purchased two of them just to try out the formula. At first I was kind of perplexed as the color glided across my lips with no tug and pull – not the usual matte formula I was used too. I thought it was a mistake at first as both colors are soft, opaque, smooth and creamy. I figured this was no way going to be a matte lipstick, but I waited to see what would happen.
Within about two minutes, the formula dried down to a complete matte finish. I enjoyed the comfort of the formula. It was very hydrating, not dry or flaky throughout the day. The lipsticks ended up lasting over 8 hours during wear with minimal transfer, even with a face covering.

Thrill Seeker
Thrill Seeker is a bright, magenta matte pink. This one seemed to accentuate fine lines more than the red shade.
The sleek light-weight packaging of the lipsticks really attracted me to the display, especially that I can see the color at the bottom of the lipstick. The lipstick twists up and the product itself has a flat top instead of the normal bullet shape. I liked this as it allowed my application to be faster and even more precise. I’m excited get more colors and to try this out as a full COVERGIRL makeup look using my matte made foundation.
