Mother’s Day is almost here and I thought I would put together a short list of my top 5 Mother’s Day gift ideas under $40. This year, I wanted to focus on gift items that I know would make my mom feel special, and at the same time, won’t stretch your pocket book. I prefer to stick to the beauty isle for things that I know would work for her, but also give her a variety to choose from to make her gift her own.
1. Sephora Lash Stash To Go Set, $28
This set features 5 sample size mascaras that will give mom the lashes of her youth! She can play with these different brands, choose the formula she likes and grab herself that mascara in the full size later!
2. Kennebunk Home Bliss Plush Throw, $39.99
For most of my adult life, I’ve known my mom to always be cold. She has random throws all over the house and I think this would be a great addition to her thrown collection. It comes in a number of colors and won’t break the bank.
3. MAC Lip Duo, $27
Mom would love this iconic duo. It’s comes at a great price as well considering it’s almost a $40 value for both! ($34.50 to be exact!) MAC Rubywoo is a classic shade that looks great on every skin tone at any age. However, if your mom is not a fan of reds, there are a few other shade duos to choose from so you can select a shade that’s right for her.
4. Elizabeth & James Petite Nirvana, $28.00
I’ve been in love with the Elizabeth and James fragrance line for a few years now and I think this set is a wonderful way for my mom to try these fragrances. This particular set includes 2 x 0.22 oz/ 6.8 mL Eau de Parfum Dabbers of Nirvana Amethyst and Nirvana French Grey.
