Sensationnel Empress Lace Front Wig Nova ($27.99) is a synthetic unit that works great as a protective style as we transition into Spring. This wig is lightweight and features a natural, hand-tied curved part to give a more realistic appearance. I did add some concealer and plucked a few hairs at the hairline to suit my style. The unit is very well constructed with adjustable straps and three combs-two in the front and one at the nape of the neck. The color I’m wearing is 99J, however there are about 10 different colors to choose from.
The Sensationnel Empress Lace Front Wig Nova is a more conservative unit that is great for church, work or even a dinner function. Shedding was minimal with this unit and the curls did not tangle. My only issue with the unit is that the curls in the back are not the same as those in the front portion of the wig. The curls in the back were much tighter so I had to finger comb them out to my liking. The hair is very soft and although it is synthetic, it does not scratch me at all. I can see this wig becoming a staple in my wig collection a variety of colors for upcoming social events.
