Epic moisture using Proganix Quench
Let’s face it: Winter is coming and for those of us that have curls, we know that they can get really dry and in desperate need of moisture. Proganix Beauty has answered that call. Proganix Quench is a four piece collection designed to regenerate dry hair into hydrated, detangled, soft to the touch tresses. It’s unique formulation is a lightweight blend infused with coconut water, electrolytes and coconut oil. The formula also boasts of having no Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. Additionally, what I love about this formula, is that aloe leaf juice is the second ingredient, which is amazing because I already use it to close my cuticles and add strength to my hair once I’m done washing my hair. For more on that, you can check out my wash routine.
Proganix Quench Shampoo and Conditioner
The combination of these two products took my curls to another level. The Proganix Quench shampoo was the most interesting as it comes out of the tube looking like an ordinary shampoo. However, it has what seems to be a gentle lather, but it looks like an emulsion once it comes into contact with wet hair. It leaves my hair looking very healthy, clean without feeling stripped, yet soft at the same time. The Proganix Quench conditioner is the perfect complement to the shampoo. The conditioner instantly adds moisture to your hair and provides excellent slip during detangling. My hair felt so soft once I rinsed this out, that I did not want to add any other products to my hair.
Proganix Quench Moisture Balm and Leave-In Moisture
Proganix wanted to make sure that your hair locks in all that moisture starting with the shampoo and conditioner. To give your hair a refreshing finish to any wash day routine, they added a moisture balm and leave-in moisturizer to the lineup. The Proganix Moisture balm is a multitasking moisture balm that can bring dry strands back to life. I tried applying this to week old, dry hair and my curls came back to life as if they were freshly washed. However, there is mineral oil present in the formulation (third on the list) so if you are allergic, this may not be the product for you. This amazing balm was perfected in the salon to:
- Calm flyaways
- Soften stiff stands
- Protect against heat
The Proganix Leave-in Moisture is a spray on leave in moisturizer. The formulation is rather on the thick side, so I do wish this was in pump form like the moisture balm. However, the spray does a good job of distributing the product so that no strand is left behind. This leave in moisturizer was created to:
- Control frizz
- Detangle
- Soften
- Add weightless hydration
The entire Proganix Quench line is indeed a must have for winter haircare. I do hope that Proganix Beauty makes these in bigger sizes soon because the conditioner ran out way before I was done with the shampoo.
