Garnier Fructis repairing treat haircare with Papaya Extract Shampoo ($5.79 for 11.8 fl oz) and Conditioner ($5.79 for 11.8 fl oz) were both recently part of my wash day routine. This new duo claims to be made with 98 percent naturally derived ingredients, along with superfruits, made to nourish thirsty hair.

The formula has a lot going for itself. In fact, it comes in a recycled bottle, is vegan and has none of the silicones, parabens, nor animal-derived ingredients.

Upon the first sniff, the papaya extract burst through, giving a lovely, refreshing shower experience. However, the Garnier Fructis repairing treat haircare with papaya extract Shampoo and conditioner to me are not for a luxury wash day experience, but I’d say more of a mid-month wash day routine.

My curls felt hydrated after the complete wash routine before I went in with my chosen deep conditioner. The shampoo does a great job of cleansing the hair without it feeling stripped or weighed down. The conditioner is a thick consistency and felt great in my hair. However, there was not much slip so I would advise against using this to detangle your hair.

If you are looking for a shampoo and conditioner combo that smells great and won’t break the bank, I would suggest giving the Garnier Fructis Repairing Treats Haircare with Papaya Extract a try along with the other scents available including Aloe, Coconut and Avocado.
