You can really tell I’m desperate for Spring if I’m still trying to make florals work in this cold weather. I wanted to rock some winter florals even though Spring has officially begun. I decided to shop my closet this week and pair pieces together that would actually compliment each other. How I like to wear florals is basically to have a solid color layered somewhere in the outfit.
I grabbed this black bodycon dress with a plunging neckline because I definitely wanted to wear a statement necklace. The back of the dress had a high curved split that I think added just the right amount of sexy, besides the plunging neckline of course. The light blues, white and black floral print blazer really made the dress stand out way more due to the contrasting colors. Also, the blazer has so much going on that the it actually stood out on it’s own as well. Additionally, the light blues gave the outfit just the right amount of color that I wanted.
I kept the makeup simple using only my lip color as a focus point. I wore the MAKEUPFOREVER Artist Acrylip shade in 500, with big bold lashes on my eyes.
