When I first saw this dress my immediate reaction was, “I’m going to look like an old school flight attendant.” Once I got this garment on, it safe to say that I’m actually pretty fine with that. I really like the silhouette of the dress. The darts in the front around the tummy area really help trim the waist line. It’s not boxy at all and the fabric is nice. However, I would have rather it to be thicker on this vintage inspired mint dress, just to conceal any undergarments better.
The black trim on the dress really made the mint color pop. The bow detail is just adorable and it not adjustable or removable. I wanted the bow to really take center stage so I did not wear a necklace with this dress. I wore some matching statement earrings and a gold watch. I kept the shoes simple with my fave black T-Strap heels and added a lovely black hand bag. As for my hair, I wanted to complete the Jacki-O vibes that this dress was giving me so I opted for a bob style wig. As far as makeup goes, I kept the eyes a bit smokey with a pop of pink lipstick just to bring out the mint more.
