Fall is definitely a time to experiment with different prints, patterns and to mix things up. I’m always open to new things and how I can work them on my 5’1 frame. Today I wanted to try a print that I never thought I would reach for because all my life I’ve been told it looks like a table cloth. I wanted to share how to wear a gingham print dress because that’s how I prefer to wear this print-as a dress.
This dress is stretchy, comfortable and I really liked the peter pan collar with double breasted button details. It’s more of a fit and flare style which flatters my tiny frame. If you have followed me for a while, you know I need a pop of color somewhere in all my outfits. So, I added these adorable red booties with double bow accents.
My hair was actually behaving these past few days, so I decided to let my curls do their own thing, just off of my face. My makeup was kept rather clean with a little grey shadow on the eyes and a deep red lip. Since the collar stood out so much, I kept the jewelry down to simple pearls.
