I always considered polka dots a symbol of youth and now that I’m in my 30s, I’m definitely embracing that thought! More importantly though, I find polka dots easy to wear because they come in so many sizes. I was really happy about how this fitted polka dot pencil dress wore this past Sunday. The fabric is stretchy and comfortable. The draping on the side really gave it an elegant, lady-like touch. I really appreciated the faux wrap high neckline of the dress, so there was no real need to have a necklace. This dress is really lovely and can even work in an office setting.
I decided to pair the dress with some black thigh high hosiery as well as my favorite black velvet pumps that feature a faux fur tail. I pulled my hair into a low bun to help the shoulder draping to stand out. Of course I had to have a bold, red lip just to add a little color to the outfit.
