Contrasting Print: Chevron Midi Dress

I’ve been obsessing over prints this week and fell in love with this chevron midi dress that I picked up from Burlington Coat factory. I loved how the chevron gradients got bigger with the length of the dress allowing the accentuation of the hip area. This dress is so comfortable and is a very easy style to wear. The contrasting navy, white and tan colors work really well with the chevron print. It really shapes your silhouette all on it’s own.

I tied in my favorite satchel from Dooney and Bourke, along with a navy bow accent heal by Franco Sarto. The bag has the cutest embossment from their Ostrich Collection. I think this is a great way to /ayer print on print in fashion trend without over doing the garment. Although I wish I had shoes to match the handbag, I think the subtle navy heel really helped to pull attention to the bag. With so much going on in the dress I wanted my hair to really pop and not just be my normal boring bun. I went for a blonde short wig with curled side bangs to really show off those beautiful earrings by Amrita Singh.
