I was stunned at how this black classy 50s style dress looked once I got it on. I purchased this dress from Amazon not knowing how it would look on my 5’1″ frame. I paired it with a petticoat just to add volume to the full skirt. This 50s style black classy dress, is perfect for church as well as gatherings that call for something simple, yet elegant. The fit of this dress was perfect as it does have a bit of stretch to it.
I wanted a pop of color as always, so I wore a green center piece with my interchangeable pearl necklace. I kept my hair off my face and threw in a few curls to add body to the style. I even tried to create a 50s swirl, which was kind of cute. I kept my makeup light and fresh with a subtle pink lip. I didn’t even wear eyeshadow. I wanted the necklace to take center stage with the color and it did just that.
