NYX Born To Glow Foundation ($10 for 1.01 fl. oz) is a medium coverage foundation with a light weight, naturally radiant finish. This foundation is made in China and comes in a convenient tube packaging.
I purchased the shade Cappuccino. The color match was decent and it is a medium coverage foundation, as I noticed my acne scars still showing through.
The finish was radiant and the consistency is a liquid, but with some thickness to it. An interesting ingredient I found in the formula is Jojoba oil, which will definitely contribute to a consistent non-greasy glow to the skin. Blending the NYX Born To Glow foundation was not an issue at all and it plays well with a brush or a blending sponge. After application, my skin appeared more dewy and even-toned.
I was able to wear the foundation for seven hours before my skin’s oil ducts had had enough. Within the first hour, my T-Zone began to show signs of oil. After 4 hours, my nose and forehead had a considerable amount of oil and by hour seven, I looked like a disco ball.
Although the website does not say exact that this foundation is for a particular skin type, I would say this would be best suited for dry skin persons. It’s beautiful once applied, but it does not hold up in terms of longevity. As someone with combination oily skin, I would say this is only for quick errands and not an all day wear for me.
