Melt Cosmetics Four Twenty Palette ($58) is a 10-pan eyeshadow palette filled with green, gold and olive shades. There are nine mattes and one shimmer shade, embossed with a cannabis leaf (side note: the formula does not include CBD).
The packaging is light weight and contains a narrow mirror on the inside. All shade names are embossed in bold was well. The colors are very pigmented, but the formula is soft, resulting kick up in the pan with some fall out during application.
Here are all the shades:
- Shotgun – Matte neon lime shadow
- Faded – Warm olive
- Chronic – Deep olive matte
- Roll It – Matte brown
- Dank – Matte deep khaki
- Blunt – Matte russet brown
- Shatter – Shimmering amber
- Wax – Matte yellow
- Full Melt – Matte dark amber hue.
- Hash – Warm taupe
To give the palette a test run, I went for a smokey green look. Blending was not an issue during application as the soft formula allows the colors of the Melt Cosmetics Four Twenty palette to really blend together. However, due to the kick-up that I got in the palette, I would suggest using a sticky base to apply on the lid as I did get minimal fallout on my face when I was blending out these shadows.
