Maybelline Superstay Full Coverage Foundation ($11.99 for 1.0 FL OZ), is an oil-free, creamy, lightweight full coverage foundation. I purchased this foundation in the shade Warm Coconut and I’m really please with it’s staying power. The time I wore this foundation for the first time was for 16 hours, so the 24 hour claim may be realistic. It did not shift, move or even separate in my oily areas. I did have to blot my oily zones after 4 hours, so if you are looking for oil control, you won’t get much out of this but it did not slide off in my oily T-zONE.
As for coverage, it is buildable full coverage. Some of my deeper scars showed through the makeup and I had to go in with an additional layer. The finish for the Maybelline Superstay Full Coverage foundation is more of a demi-matte. It’s matte, but still looks like skin. This foundation comes in 16 shades but only 4 shades for deeper skin. So I do hope they expand the shade range and introduce some powders to go with it.
During application, I did notice that this foundation dries rather quickly, so my advice would be to work fast when applying this foundation or work in sections. I also prefer using a beauty blender over a brush to apply this foundation.
