Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid, the formula is not sticky and adheres to the lips without tugging or pulling. The creamy formulation of the Maybelline lip lifter lip gloss is available in 10 shades that provide semi-opaque coverage on my pigmented lips. I also noticed that it visibly smooths the lips surface and provides amazing high shine for hydrated, fuller-looking lips. The staying power is pretty good for a gloss as it did not completely go away during a meal. I did reapply with no issues and felt just as hydrating as it did when I first applied it. While there is a fragrance to this gloss, it is not strong but is rather sweet and light.
The packaging is very seamless. It features a safety vacuum/reservoir that fills up with the product once you pull the applicator out. The clear acrylic base allows you to easily see the colour of the gloss through the packaging, while the tops remain the same nude colour across all the shades. The lettering on the packaging is embossed on, giving a luxe look and feel to it.
