Maybelline Lip Lifter Gloss Stone ($8.99) is a light nude lip gloss with pink undertones. It is one of the 10 shades from this collection. This non-shimmer lip gloss provides medium opacity coverage. The formula includes with Hyaluronic Acid, which adds intense, hydrating shine to the lips, allowing for a fuller-looking lip without lip plumper.
The large wand of the Maybelline Lip Lifter gloss picks up a decent amount of product to be dispensed on the lips evenly and covered my lips in one swipe. The formula is also not sticky and is comfortable throughout the day. Lip Gloss’s formula visibly smooths lip surface and enhances lip contour with high shine. I think the stand out thing about this shade is that it felt more hydrating over the 6 hours I wore it, so it gets hydrating over time. During reapplication, it did not ball up on top of the leftover formula after my meal. I just reapplied and it looked like a fresh coat of gloss.
You can pair this gloss with a darker brown lip liner for more definition. Also, if you prefer, use it as a topper over your lipstick for a perky pout. I personally think it is lovely all on it’s own. To see the other shades swatched, check them out here.
