Make Up For Ever decided to give their iconic Ultra HD foundation formulation an upgrade with the release of the new Make Up For Ever HD Skin Undetectable Foundation. This liquid foundation is available in 40 shades and claims to blur and cover imperfections for up to 24 hours, powered by a micro-skin system that syncs with the skin for a true-to-skin finish.
Some stand out and interesting things about the new formula:
- Micro-Skin System: Follows skin movement, provides immediate high correction and smooths skin.
- Vegetable-Origin Glycerol: Helps to preserve the initial moisturizing of the skin during a 24-hour period.
- Exopolysaccharide: Helps for radiance of complexion during a 24-hour period.
Make Up Forever also took a sustainable approach to the packaging of this foundation. The bottle is recyclable and made from 40 percent recycled glass. It also has an FSC carton and bio-sourced cap.
When it comes to application, the Make Up For Ever HD Skin Undetectable Foundation is comfortable and easy to apply. Coverage is medium-to-full and I chose the shade 4N62, which is the Y505 in the old formulation. flexes with skin for no caking or settling into lines. The HD Skin foundation is also vegan, non-comedogenic, waterproof, sweatproof.
