MAC Craving Lipstick is a Spring Necessity
MAC Craving Lipstick ($17 for 0.1 oz) is described as a “burst of plum.” I’d say it definitely is, but it is also a deep warm tone mauve pink shade with an amplified creme finish. The texture is exceptionally rich and smooth with opaque coverage. I enjoy this shade as my first lipstick of choice for Spring, because it goes so well with a number of makeup looks and outfits, while carrying that light vanilla scent that MAC is known for. While there is no taste to this lipstick, I find that it does not settle into fine lines and lasts a good 6 hours with mild touch ups after eating. The formulation is not drying and gives off a shiny, creamy finish. However, due to this creamy finish, if you have dry, cracked lips, it will cling to them and just feel like a creamy, dry skin mixture of a mess so I do recommend exfoliating before applying and enjoying this MAC Craving lipstick. This lipstick is so beautiful on it’s own but it can be paired with any warm plum, purple or dark brown lip liner to give the lips more definition.
