Can you say glowing copper cheeks? ColourPop Bardot Super Shock Cheek color is going to delight this fall.
ColourPop Bardot Super Shock Cheek ($8.00 for 0.15 oz) is a warm, red copper shade with a hint of microfine golden and red shimmer. The finish is pearlized and the texture is soft and smooth. There is almost a kind of cooling effect when I first touched the blush, which I find very interesting. Although this is a cream based product, it dries down to a matte finish.
As for application, the ColourPop Bardot Super Shock Cheek can be applied with finger tips or a brush. A synthetic brush would work, but I preferred a stippling brush for a more sheer wash of color. When applying with fingertips it can get really intense, but it blends out easily. The brushes that I prefer to use with this blush were the MAC 159 duo fiber blush brush and the Real Techniques stippling brush. Both brushes delivered sheer color but allowed the product to be built up to the intensity that I desired.
