This summer Wet N Wild Beauty released three new color icon blush and glow trios for 2015. I spotted them at Walgreens and decided to pick up Solar Powered.
The blush and glow trio features a blush, and in my opinion, two highlight colors. I think is was a brilliant idea for summer considering the amount of traveling everyone is doing. This trio worked perfectly because of the deeper, bronze tones. Solar Powered is definitely a hit for deeper skin tones. As far as the packaging goes, I love the white compact. It’s very chic and allows the colors in the trio to really shine through.
The texture of these colors were exceptional for a drugstore brand. Very soft and smooth. The colors were not chalky at all, however, they did kick up a little dust in the pan prior to application. A little goes a long way with these, so I do suggest a very light hand. If you are in the market for a new blush and highlighter from the drugstore, I’d say look for the Wet N Wild Blush and Glow color icon trio because these are limited edition and may not stick around much longer.
