Three Steps to Expert Contouring with the Real Techniques Sculpting Set
Real Techniques Sculpting Set ($19.99) is a synthetic, three piece brush set designed to have you ready to expertly enhance your natural bone structure with ease. The brushes come nestled in a firm, foam housing which holds them in place pretty well inside the plastic packaging. These brushes are very light weight and soft to the touch. The set includes a Sculpting brush, a Setting Brush and a Fan brush.
The Sculpting brush is a very soft, dense brush that bounces off the skin. It features a wide, angled head with is designed to help create defined contours using liquid or cream products. I can also see this brush being used to blend out under eye concealer and cream blush.
The Fan brush is well constructed and is not flimsy or scratchy. It can be used to sweep on highlight powders and take away excess makeup for a flawless finish.
The Setting brush is one of my favorite brushes from the Real Techniques line. I can not set my concealer without this brush so I’m happy it was included in this set. The size of this brush is perfect for getting directly under the eyes to set concealer and is great for controlled dusting of powder or even a highlighter.
I think this Real Techniques Sculpting Set is a great value for money as the Sculpting brush and the Setting Brush purchased separately are around $18! I also have not been able to find the fan brush sold separately so this is still essentially a great deal on some long lasting, quality brushes.
