MAKE UP FOR EVER AQUA XL Eye Pencils ($21 for 0.04 OZ) are an artistic collection of ultra-long-lasting eye pencils that deliver eye-popping color that stays put. These highly pigmented eye pencils apply ultra soft and smooth without streaking. With a full range of colors from white to jet black, the colors held on for hours and did not budge with regular soap and water (a makeup remover wipe did the trick to avoid tugging on the skin). I find that they can be blended but you just have to work VERY quickly before they dry.
To test the waterproof theory, I took a trip to a popular beach on New Providence Island in The Bahamas called Goodman’s Bay. I decided to dip my arm filled with the AQUA Pencils into the crystal clear blue waters, submerging them for about 10 seconds. Once I lifted my hands from the incoming waves, not a smudge on any of the colors could be found. I rubbed my fingers along the vibrant shades and each one stayed in place. The vivid colors just exuded radiance in the Bahamian sunshine and did not fade under such harsh conditions.
