Stay LIT in 2017 with the new MAKE UP FOR EVER Star Lit Powder
MAKE UP FOR EVER Star Lit Powder ($21 for 0.04 oz) is a new highlighting formula designed to catch light with pure mother-of-pearl pigments. This ultra fine loose powder comes in eight shades to choose from and once applied, is very long wearing. The soft formula is designed to be worn on the eyes, cheeks, lips or anywhere that your want illuminated. It is a multi-faceted formula and can be applied wet or dry depending on the intensity you wish to achieve.
The packaging for the powder is a small jar with an opening at the center. This is the perfect size for a eyeshadow brush to be able to pick up just enough product. I had to tap the powder into the lid of the jar for highlighting because it was too concentrated inside of the jar. As an eyeshadow, the powder lasted eight hours with little to no fall out during application. However, as a highlight, I noticed at that after eight hours the intensity started to fade. The shades are very easy to apply and provide a shimmer and shine that is very opaque yet buildable.
