Take your summer nudes along for all the fun in the sun with the L’Oreal Colour Riche La Palette Lip in Nude
L’Oreal Colour Riche La Palette in Nude ($16.99 for 0.14 oz) is all you need if you are looking for a nude lip palette. This palette contains eight shades with three finishes: cream, matte and a highlighter. The L’Oreal Colour Riche La Palette lip offers 1001 ways to wear nude lips. The palette also comes with a small lip brush, that I found to be rather broad, but applied the colors without feeling scratchy.
L’Oreal included enough colors to allow you to create ombre, multi-color and multi-finish lip looks. There is a nude in the palette for everyone, and the colors were very comfortable to wear. The matte shades were not drying and seemed to be more of a creamy matte that wore well throughout the day.
These colors unfortunately, do not have names, so you have to remember your favorite shade. There are three other palettes in this collection including a purple and a pink. There is no smell at all to the lip colors and I find that the highlighter adds a nice pout to the lips without being glittery.
While I like the concept of such a diverse nude lip palette, I would have liked to have seen the L’Oreal Colour Riche La Palette lip add one more palette to this collection with darker colors. I can only really use the first four colors on the left of the palette, along with the highlighter. The price point is also a little steep in my opinion, but it allows you to be creative and never have the same nude lip twice if you don’t want to.
