The Forces of Nature: Play! By Sephora May 2016
For this month’s box, Sephora went with the theme, “Forces of Nature, which features products from brands that have a more natural base to their brand and ingredients. PLAY! By Sephora May 2016 has captured products from brands like KORRES and Bite Beauty, who all have ingredients that are based on nature to help with skincare concerns in a gentle, chemical free way.

This was my first ever subscription box and also my first PLAY! By Sephora box. I was impressed with the quality and continuity throughout the contents of the box. I am aware that there have been changes made to the packaging, which is to be expected considering the amount of subscribers they recently took on from the waiting list (including myself). The subscription is $10 a month and features five beauty samples as well as a bonus perfume sample. Additionally, you can get free one-on-one tutorials at your local Sephora when you bring in your Play! Pass (comes inside the box) and 50 extra Beauty insider points once you make a purchase using the pass.
I think this month’s box was wonderful. I would only object to the size of the Origins Maskimizer being too small of a sample to really get a good feel of the product. Other than that, everything else is well worth the price tag. I enjoyed the fact that there was a mix of hair, makeup and skincare samples in this box so everything was covered. I look forward to trying these items and maybe even finding a staple or two for the summer.
