Wear your Amplified Winter Curls with confidence!

For many naturals, the words curly and winter do not belong in the same sentence. As for me, I wanted to explain how to get amplified winter curls. The way that nature has the winter season set up does not go well with the needs of natural hair. During the winter, I used to hide my curls (as most naturals would agree to do). However, this year, I wanted to try something different. My hair is able to tell me or show me, what it needs and when it needs it. So this winter, I wanted to amplify my winter curls and wear them out with confidence, without them being hard or stiff.

Step One

Shampoo and condition hair with the Proganix Volume shampoo and conditioner. Follow with a deep conditioner if necessary. I use the Dr. Miracle’s Deep Conditioning Packet.

Step Two

Add leave in. I used the Creme of Nature with Argan Oil Butter Milk Leave-In. To seal in your leave-in follow up with an oil. I use OGX Moisture + Vitamin B5 Weightless Oil Mist to add moisture to protect the hair from the cold air.

Step Three

For added volume and control, apply a dime sized amount of the Proganix Volume Amplify Gel from root to ends with your finger tips.

Step 4

Grab a generous amount of the Creme of Nature with Argan Oil Butter-Licious Curls to add more definition to your curls, using your fingers for separation.

Step 5

Using a diffuser on your blow dryer, on the warm setting, dry your hair until it’s about 95 percent dry. Then, using the cool shot, continue to diffuse your hair until it is completely dry.

The finished result is beautiful, moisturized, stay-in-place amplified winter curls. Now, I know I will get questions about the makeup, so a full product list is below.
