As a summer baby, I have no problem jumping past the spring season and into the warmer months. This adorable pineapple gingham print dress just solidified my new obsession for the season-Pineapples!
This particular dress is part of the new SS2018 collection from Collectif. It’s the Collectif Mainline Anita Pineapple Gingham Pencil Dress.Gingham has been a trend since late winter, so I like that the print incorporated the summer feel of pineapples and the gingham print together. It creates a lovely contrast.
This pineapple gingham print dress features a sweetheart neckline and wide straps that perfectly hide my bra straps! The cotton fabric is lightweight with a slight stretch. This curve loving dress hugs your body and giving you that classic beautiful silhouette.
I decided to pair this dress with a Lucy Pineapple Cardigan. This cardigan is very high quality and has a comfortable stretch. I fell in love with the novelty embroidered pineapple motif, slim-fit half sleeves, yellow button detailing down the centre front. This cardigan stops at my natural waistline and the broad ribbing really pulls in the waist to accentuate your shape.
As for accessories, I had some pineapple earrings to go along with this outfit. I opted for no necklace as I really liked how the sweetheart neckline stood out. I found a gold and emerald bracelet and some simple black pumps to finish things off.
